If you check the web site for the Zl1 exhaust they show hangers on the BB exhaust near the rear diff, just like stock, but mine do not have them, only at the very ends??

When you get yours check them and let me know, going to call them in the morning.

I compared those last night. Definitely looks like they left off two hangers.

I called and asked them about the hangers, they will let me know. Not sure what happened on the hangers but they are being very helpful.

If they decide to send a free exhaust system, just give them my address.

Thanks for the video and information! Lots of great media here.

We saw this system at SEMA recently and loved the sound. It's definitely louder in the open setting than the stock system from what we heard. We're really excited to do some installs on our own since we're carrying it. Just got our first stocking order placed.

If the system is anywhere near the quality and tone improvement that it provides on the C6 Z06 Corvette--where it has been the most popular exhaust we've sold for that vehicle by far--then the ZL1 crowd is in for a treat.

Great videos! Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks,
Matt

Billy Boat has sent the hangers for the mid pipe area. Their customer service is great, very friendly and helpful.

I need some assistance. I just installed the billy boat exhaust on my vert. I was NOT told when I ordered it that it isn't a direct bolt on for a vert. The rear sub frame connectors had to be completely removed so the rear section piping could be put on. My service manager doesn't like that at all even if I work there. I need to know what I can do in the form of an aftermarket sub frame kit..or let the dealer try to "fab" up a solution to get the back of the car correct again...the kit is awesome (too quiet tho).

I spoke with mike@billyboat and he doesn't know. They haven't done a vert zl1 yet in house. He was going to get with engineering but he didn't know what would come of that. The pipe attached to the mufflers would have to be redone or a different version of the subframe connector would be needed. He can't be specific because there is no vert in house to look at. I sent him another email but I won't get a reply until tomorrow. I was just looking for opinions from y'all on possible solutions so I could keep the kit...

You might want to volunteer your car for it, may get some type of freebies out of it.

Ask him if he still needs a vert and what kind of deal he will give me? To make a long story short, I live about 30 minutes from their shop. I have been looking for a loud catback and one of the local shops(who is also a sponsor here) had mentioned the Billy Boat and supposedly spoke with them and they were willing to bring my vert in and fit their ZL1 system to my ZL1 vert so they could make their ZL1 vert system(as they hadn't had one in the shop as you mentioned). Anyway, for the past 6 weeks I have left a million e-mails, texts, phone messages, etc... and have yet to get a hold of the guy to finalize the details. A few weeks ago I finally just gave up; not sure why he is blowing me off. I thought about calling Billy Boat myself and just going direct through them and may do that now.

When you say it is too quiet; do you have any sound clips? Do you have the mild to wild hooked up as well? How much louder than stock is it? You are giving me cold feet as I am looking to get as loud as I can without headers.
