If I didn't know any better...I bet he was talking about the new Cadillac CTS Coupe...but that's just off the top of my head...

as for price, if the ss is going to be 500 hp I think is going to be over 35k, I mean get real I believe it when you show me an american muscle car that came stock at 500 hp and over for under 35k, the ss camaro sould stay 400-450 hp, the 08 303 hp ss impala is $29.880 and the base corvette is $47.950, a car over 500 horses below 35 grand= horseshi*

And WHY would you want the top-level V8 to have only 400 - 450 HP?!? Unless you were saying the SS will be the base level V8. But I don't think that's what you were saying...

hmm how to put this........ if the ss/zo6 was over 500hp it would'nt be in the same pony class as the stang and Challengers, it would be in the same class as the vettes, vipers,KR, etc, leaving the rest and the dust, stangs, challengers

I'm with Clyde on both his posts. If you aren't happy with the car, cry about it somewhere else. A huge percentage of this community is eager and happy with how the car is developing, so take your hate of the car to an SRT8 forum. JMHO...

What do you call the Mustang Shelby GT500? Performance Base Number of Cylinders: 8 Base Engine Size: 5.4 liters Base Engine Type: V8 Horsepower: 500 hp Max Horsepower: 6000 rpm Torque: 480 ft-lbs. Max Torque: 4500 rpm SS with 500hp plus is simply matching existing competition. Just be prepared to pay like a GT500 too.
