Wasn't too bad. Best run of the day was 13.8 @ 104 mp3. Car is still running rich, buddy said it was puffing black smoke.

2.16 isn't horrible for these cars in street tire trim. The key to a good run is definitely a sub 2 second 60'. Ask Vince. LOL

With that being said, your trap speed is right on and where you should be for the rwhp you have. Not bad at all. Not many 5th Gens in the 13s around here. LOL. Now we just have to work on getting some more folks out.

I'm PENNED in for the 21st. Permission slip has been signed and I plan on hookin up with a few of y'all out there if anybody else is going.

Should be fun.

Well I think I'll be there this Sunday again, I took my buddy and his 2010 challenger to the track and now he is hooked and wants to go this weekend again. Not sure if I can make the 21st, I have wrist surgery on the 16th, but I might go and watch.

I'm happy with the 13.8, I hit the Rev limiter that run in second. I'm hoping with a good run I'm near 13.6 or so but I shall see. I turned that throttle controller up to 9 on the run with a 2.59 60' gonna have to mess with it to get the launch down.

The key is to roll off soft and then hammer it. On street tires at least. Too much off the line and you'll spin nasty. I wouldn't say practice....but....

This is the fun part...getting your launch dialed in.

What's up Albuquerque! Not new to the forum but new to this thread! Recently moved here about 6 months ago and been waiting for the weather to warm so I can finally run my car! I will hopefully be going to the track next weekend and hope to meet some new car enthusiasts like myself. Only person I'm familiar with in here is Ivan because he tuned my car when I first moved here (remember me Ivan? Guy that kept having the driveshaft bolt issues?) Anyways here's my pride and joy the Black Beauty:

Edit: sorry for the huge iPhone pic. I'll fix it tomorrow morning!

Most of the stock Manual cars are running 14.4-14.2@97-99 MPH.

I've seen a few hammers getting high 13s.

With some practice launching and a set of Drag Radials, these cars can dip into the mid 13s here easily.

It's all fun from there on....
