I'm going to track on Saturday. What should my 14 SS auto run? Only has a catback. Low 14 high 13??

My guess is a mid to high 14,especially if it's your first time at the Strip. I'll be there on Saturday as well. Look forward to meeting ya.

I'd guess the same. Best I've seen anybody do on stock tires and car (for the most part) is a 13.8. It's all in the launch but a low 14 isn't bad for it either.

Good luck fellas. I'll be working.
Ivan

speaking from experience, 14.x with your auto... it's the 1800rpm stall
thats going to lag on initial launch. but you'll have fun!

Cool thanks fella's. I just bought some used l1e wheels and tires. But they don't seem to hook up like the stock p zero's. I know it's been cold . I would assume the goodyears f1 heated up on a lighter wheel would be better?

Goodyear eagle f1 supercar g2 tires are definitely just a summer tire. I originally ordered some for my car but changed my mind and went with some nitto motivos for the winter. Come spring I'll be looking into summer tires for the car. I hear the eagle f1 will hook decently once warmed up.

Wow. Looks like there's quite a few active New Mexico peeps. I'm headed there Wednesday for the next 4 years. Was looking to meet up with some of the guys, show me around, point me to a good shop for some work and a tune. Anybody help me out? I'll be in Alamogordo. Pics for attention!
