6L80 with a ZL1 6L90 GM torque converter
OK, i wanted to get a Circle D torque converter nothing too crazy. My tuner stated that it wouldnt be a great idea to get one with my mods (maggie blower etc.) But his mechanic recommended that i should look into the zl1 stall converters and that it would really help me get a good launch at the track. I currently have a full drag pack but my 60ft is terrible. i can only bring the rpms to about 1500 and with the zl1 converter, it will allow me to go about 2400 rpms. what do yall guys think
