How fast have you had your camaro?
****WARNING****
street racing and going over the speed limit is in fact illegal soooo when you write your answer be careful with your wording i got a thread shutdown today already i just really want to know how everybody's car is running. So on a closed track runway being safe as possible i got my SS up to 137. |

I'm not sure but I hear the LS max is about 115 so my speed limiter might of been get'n ready to kick in. Didn't feel like it.

somewhere on here I learned it has to do with the tire speed rating. The V6 with RS package max is 145 and the V8 is 155

V6 RS is governed at 155, not 145. The reason the LS/LT non RS is governed at 115 is because of the tires, they aren't rated for the higher speeds that the SS and RS tires are.
