No. That is a dealer installed item. All the factory stripes out there now are either CGM or white.

I actually have a question about the price increase for IOM.

We know that RJT was a premium color and why...(there's an extra step to apply the tintcoat).

Why is IOM a premium color? Are they adding an extra step that they previously weren't?

No idea. After looking at the paint up close, I can tell you that it would definitely be more expensive then most factory applied paints.

It's part of the April price increase. If you have already ordered the car, you are okay.

Good thing mine's been on order since October

I am having serious pangs waiting for it to come though. I've been told early May, but that was a few weeks ago so who knows if that's changed. I opted for no stripes and no sunroof, standard black interior, paddle shifters, rs package/hid lights, 19/20 dark wheels and upgraded audio (because I dont want to mess with it later)... I hate dealing with audio shops.

Yeah, this kinda bites, but the question must still be asked. Why is it a now premium color?

I remember the Orange and Blue G8's were premiums just because they produced fewer of them. but I dont think thats how its going to be with the Camaro.

It has been a premiun color on other cars, for what ever reason it had not been on the Camaro. So it should not have been completely out of the question that they deceided to charge for it. I'm just surprized they chose to do it when they did.
