Well I went to the drag strip today. It was 82 degrees and on most of my runs the coolant temps were over 200.
This was my first time ever so I don't have anything to compare it to. On my first run I trapped 112. Then after that on a clean run without mental errors I averaged 103 I think I made 6 passes total. Would the high coolant temp cause the drop in mph? |

After comparing time sheets and looking at video I think I was letting off the gas way to early. There's no finish line marker that I could see.

Depending on your tune, yes, the car can pull a set amount of timing based on ECT
