You need some beer to think about it.

I think the COPO is definitely the way to go! But then again, you can't use it as a dd. Plus no radio.

Forget the kid stuff, no ZL1, Stingray or SS! Test drive the Dodge Challenger Hellcat with over 700HP and a Hemi!!! That's what the Big Boys drive!!! My God, they want to seriously kill somebody!!! That's some serious tonnage!!! And it's in your price range.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Camaro, but if I had the means I'd get one just to scare people!

Made my decision, SS all the way. I don't like anything about the Stingray and that's why i kept my '09 Coupe.

Since you already have "the girl", you only need two seats.

Go over to the Corvette forum & check out some of the C6 for sale ads. I know it is not a Stingray, but when you see the depreciation, it will ring home. $70K msrp selling for $35-$45k +/- two or three years later. There are some really nice 400 & 500 hp C6 garage queens that get sold in the winter at a discount. So look in places that have snow outside of the PHX area. Insurance should be somewhat less insane as well.

What? If you're going to bribe me, bribe me. Get a Bentley or Ferrari. Chicken.

Stingray hands down and you live in Arizona so you're good with a DD. I'd kill for a stingray, they're so awesome

My little cousin just graduated from ASU around 3 months ago with a mechanical engineering degree from ASU/pretty decent GPA too, he still can't find a job. My little brother is about to graduate from ASU and has no prospects. It's tough out there. Do yourself a favor and save your money and enjoy the car and situation that you have.
OP let em hate. they just wish it was them in your position instead of you. your only young once live it up get the vette.

Your young...it will turn into a much larger sum of money down the road.

Unless you have millions then just ignore what I said. lol
This!!!!! much smarter decision. If I was OP I would buy a loaded 2013 v6 and a 2015 mustang. Perfect garage!

I thought the title was "SS, ZL1 or Stingray?" not "Hello strangers, I need life advice from a bunch of car guys." If this guy has everything all figured out thanks to mom and dad, more power to him, upgrade. Keep your life advice to your own kids.

To the OP, I'd say get in that Stingray. It's in a whole other class compared to the Camaro.

I've decided, at 24, that I want some things to look forward to. My 6 banger will hold me off till my late 20s, which I can then upgrade to an SS. That'll probably hold me off another couple years... so mid 30s will be my ZL1. By the time I'm 40-45 maybe theyll make a stingray that taller people can fit into, lol!

Just wanna look forward to something still later in life.. Maybe a prancing horse..hmm.

I test drove the SS tonight, and the ZL1. My god, the SS I fell in love, the sound of it compared to my V6 was amazing, and then the ZL1, of course I fell COMPLETELY in love with it.

The only thing is, how practical is the ZL1 for a DD? I would be hesitant to get on the highway in fear of rock chips and other road damage. I loved the thing, I could have paid for it on the spot, but I decided to think a little longer. I'm probably going to go with the SS honestly, it's a little more practical as a DD and the ZL1 I would want to have as a weekend toy.

Thank you haha! Everything is figured out because like you said, my parents have given me a good life, they paid off my school for me, they've gotten me my own house with my girlfriend, I couldn't ask for much more and some say I'm spoiled but I'm the only boy in my family and my parents just want what's best for me and my siblings, and well frankly they're well off.

I just want an upgrade from my 2LS even though I've already put a lot of money into it, I really want the SS or ZL1, I love the stingrays, but honestly I think the ZL1 looks 10x more mean than a Vette.
