Yeah I'd like to know this too. I'll definitely have my car up on jack stands at some point. Don't want to screw something up.

Looks to me, similar to the 5th gen. There are cutouts in the lower part of the rockers where a jack or jack stand can be placed....but really that's just an educated guess on my part.

Can the car really be raised in the air at these points?

I raised it from these points when I painted my calipers. The first picture in this post is wrong. DO NOT raise them from that area circled in orange. That is where I first attempted to lift it and it got bent a little. That part is aluminum. I have a picture, will upload shortly.

Many cars jack from the Pinch welds. They are usually plenty strong. (I have a lift at home and jack from the Orange marks shown above). If putting up on jacck stands, Jack from one, place the stands at the other. Any structural area should be sufficient for placing stands.

i just jack from the orange spot with a piece of wood in between the jack and the car. it seems ok after i put the car down. question is where do we need to jack from the front? any one know for sure, that drawing is probably for Gen 5, doesn't like Gen 6 that is for sure.

Check out the ZL1Addons jack pads. They are used on the area that Modshack pointed out. There is also a MagPuck to use with older jacks

The pinch welds at the 4 corners are what I would use to do one wheel at a time but I don't think I can both jack and then find a spot for a jack stand by using those if I am trying to get all 4 corners of the car in the air.

Help?
