A service question?

You guys are the experts. My ZL1 is 7 months old with 3500 miles. I got a notice from the dealer to bring it in to check the SCR level. Should I bring it in to get checked, never brought back yet for check?

Isn't the SCR Level the selective catalytic reduction that is used on Chevy Diesels?????

Not sure what SCR is but i think your thinking of DEF for the diesels.

The SCR catalist is usually located after the DEF. It reduces emissions to near- zero levels while increasing gas mileage.

SCR Sensors

Gentech’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) sensors are helping keep trucks on the road and ensuring manufacturers and owners avoid the high penalties associated with non-compliance of stringent emission standards (including EPA 2010, Euro 4, Euro 5, Tier 4a, Tier 4b, Euro VI and JP 09.) A vital component of the SCR system, our sensing solution monitors diesel emission fluid (DEF/AdBlue®) level, temperature and quality.
So you have a diesel in your ZL1 do ya.......did not see that as an option when I bought mine lol
