Diamond quilted suede wrap knee pads

If anyone is interested in upgrading the standard 1SS plastic knee pads but don't want to spend the ~$200 for the wrapped pads, you can buy your own fabric and wrap the pads yourself

The fabric I used was an imitation suede headliner with 3/8" thick foam backing, its a bit thick but it has really good padding, not bad for $30 bucks I could have finished the edges off a little better but its definitely a step up from the plastic pieces. I'm aslo planning to do the upper door trim piece as well once i get a hold of a plastic welding iron to remove that piece from the door panels

All you need is the fabric:

I did something similar and added some padding and wrapped it in pleathor.
