Picked up my ZL1 calipers from the post office today. I must say the fronts are MASSIVE! Waiting on rotors to come in from R1 Concepts and ended up ordering fluid from the as well Stoptech STR-600 for $16 a pint shipped.

The calipers I bought have the factory pads and pin kits loaded in them with the factory lines attached. I'll run them until I burn them up and probably pick up a set of track pads when I do any events. I will have the factory lines for sale as soon as the stainless lines come in.

I'd post pictures of the calipers, but they are still wrapped and in a box full of packing peanuts, so I left them like that until I finish at the office today.

I'd like to upgrade my fronts with the CTS-V calipers and have them powdercoated black or RRM. I'll be curious to hear what kind of performance advantage you notice after it's all installed.

Had a great time yesterday at Road Atlanta, first time I have ever watched drifting live. For some reason, I thought it was going to be old 240's with a different engine and a lot of rice burners. That definitely was not the case, them cars were freaking beast like. We left after the round of 32 at 6pm figured 11 hours there was long enough. Had a couple of rain drops, but it mainly missed the track. Took a ton of pictures, a lot of them sucked since I had never used my wifes good camera, but I have some good ones I will post later.

Definitely post some! I always wanted to watch it, but too many things to do and attend in the spring!

Going hiking up the backside of stone mountain today with a picnic on top with the family. It's so beautiful up there.
