I think that's why I like the way the car looks with the factory rims because their is more rubber showing. A lot of the camaros and trans ams in the 70's and 80's had steel wheels with chrome trim rings.

Thanks Vash, as soon as we get plenty of confirmed offsets/widths, we can put that info in the wiki. Looking like the LT had 35mm factory offset on 8", 30mm looks good on the car.... These are 8" width?

Stevo correct those numbers if wrong. Also I am not sure about the LS wheels it's just a guess cause these are the wheels that come up as a model match for LS. There are 89 18's on Tire Rack that fit. Good variety so far.

Almost the Steelies are 18 x 7.5 ...Surprising that they got 245/55 's to fit ...the custom wheels shown are 18 x 8.5 and should be alble to hold wider rubber one day...and each wheel is 10 lbs lighter than the steelies

Those look great. They remind me of the old Mag 500's on the Fords. Pretty timeless muscle car look, I think. Can't believe they're so inexpensive. These should be the wheels that come on the LS!

If I wanted to buy a set of these say to go on a road trip or something or just switch them out for a couple months to to save some miles on my 21's could I just have the wheel place switch the wheels out or does the spacing have to change with each set?

When I was selling my Steelies I was told by others that they would fit the LT/RS ...so I think that these custom rims should probably fit too...but I have no experience

I'm surprised the steelies are so heavy! What did they weigh each?

The more info we can get now, the easier it'll be for everyone later... There was a post once that mentioned different hubs on the LT/RS, it'll be good to verify offsets with someone that actually has the car, unless GM is kind enough to give out the info.

Steelies are 32.8 lbs each per my bathroom scale...

Oh, I maybe should mention that IMHO this car's wheel wells cry out for 19' or preferably 20' wheels. (I went with stock 18" to keep the price down) and to avoid messing with wheel diameters/ABS/odometer/etc

It depends on preference, I'm liking your 18's better than most larger sizes

Can you confirm they're +30mm offset?

Those are some awesome wheels, dude! If they made em' two inches bigger, I'd bet they would look awesome on SS' too. Can't say I approve of how the logo is molded into the spoke, though.
