Kirk, I have to say that the 1.69 felt really really great. Probably that is what made my shift problem going into second feel so wrong...lol But nothing like the feel of being pinned to the seat on a good launch.

Now you just have to put the 60 ft times and the shifting all together...should get you well into the 11's!

Wow.... Larry joins the 11 second club! NICE !!! Wish I could have made it out today, but makes me feel better that it rained (not for you guys). I have a house full of kitchen cabinets and deadlines to address for the kitchen remodel .......Camaro upgrade payback LOL

Nice Larry!!! How much of the improvement do you attribute to the new suspension parts and how much to you just getting a feel for your set-up.

Thanks! Excited to do some serious cruising when I get back. I'm from Maryland originally and been stationed in CO since Jan '10 but only had about 6 months there before I deployed. Hope you guys can show me where the sweet cruising spots are.

I used to have '95 Formula Firebird and then bought a truck. So haven't had anything with some real speed for about 6 years. Can't wait to start building it up and smoking Mustangs.

We've had plenty of broken parts so I'm sure you won't have to go through that trial and error phase when you start to build.

100 percent goes to the Bmr links and arms. It was experiencing wheel hop so bad previously that a hard launch was impossible. But Joe.. I think there is more to come..just a hunch. Amazing feel at the line to hit that 1.69 mark as I crossed the scale at 4300 lbs. Temps at 44 degrees. I have to say that getting used to it is also happening. The 11.996 put me just about dead middle of the stick shift series class. To move up one spot I will have to run about 11.4. Fastest car in the series ran a 8.32 or something like that. Slowest ran an 18 second run. But since it was a dial in sportsman bracket race everyone had as much of a chance as the next guy. If I had tranny and shaft and pumpkin in I think i would give it a 150 shot and see where that put it at. But for now I am just looking forward to getting my ET times to match the trap speed...Thats on me...the driver not the car at this point.

I hope you are using chevroletconnects.com to track your car. Let me know which one is yours and I will keep a special eye on it for you. Larry
