Check for a fuse on the positive battery cable. That is where it is on my 2011 Mustang. A lot of people blow the fuse when they hit it with a ratchet while changing plugs.

It's all good I got a few chuckles out of it On a side note, I noticed in your sig you've got "buck99" next to that awesome machine of yours...is that in reference to how fast you want to take it to?

There is a 125 amp fuse for the p/s but it is not blown if you can get steering back at times. You probably need a new p/s motor. The cobalts all had to be recalled for it. They would do the same thing. Work and then not work.

Something is telling me this might have been part of the QC holdup! I did read somewhere that there was a problem with the PS on the car!

If that is the problem it is a very quick and easy fix. Just today when I was parking my car I was thinking how awesome the p/s is. Truly effortless.

I had a similar problem when I first picked up my car. Was not used to that clutch and stalled the car a couple of times and I got the power steering message. All I did was let the car sit key off for about 15 minutes and it reset itself.
