The rear end include axles? Pretty high compression for a boosted engine, but I haven't a clue what your setup will be able to handle. Just exspecting that the deeper you go with your project the more you'll hurt it's day to day use ability.

Its a lot easier to setup on a drag car, on a DD/Drag car it's harder to find the middle for both. In my drag cars I ran 9in quick change and had 2 or 3 different gears and 2 or 3 different size slicks so I could find the best setup that put me where I wanted to be when I crossed the line. With my Camaro whats best on the track will most definitely not be whats best for the road. So I'm just going to run 3:73 which should put me at 2300 at 80, Then I'll just have to adjust tire size for the track..

You aren't going to put any kind of boost with that high of compression. I would drop it to about 8:1... Wouldn't go above 9:1.

you don't need the 102mm stuff

go with Injector Dynamics injectors ID-1000

I recommend the Vortech V7 Ysi with a cog drive

boosted , the heads don't make too much difference

I agree about what was said about the gears.............

Thank you for all the input, if I dropped the compression to around 9:1 - 9.5:1 would I be able to get more boost out of it?! The engine should be able to handle quite a bit. TSP said it was good for over 1000rwhp, I'm thinking with this set up I'll be around 800rwhp, maybe a little more. Yes the rear end comes with axles.

What fuel lines and regulator are you using. And what about trans cooler. I had to buy special fittings for my 4l80e to go with -AN fittings.
Do you know what RWHP your friend was making at 24lbs, and was he having any issues of stuff breaking? As far as a Trans cooler, my shop said the trans temp wouldn’t be a big issue because it will only be a weekend driver and MAYBE track it every now and then. Should I look into it and tell them to put one on anyway?

He is pushing a little over 1050 rwhp. He had a built bottom end. So no. And as far as trans cooler I would tell them to put one on. There cheap. Way cheaper than the tranny. And with that stall your trans will heat up fast. And I went with a extra deep pan just to get a little extra fluid in there.
Here is the cooler I went with

And the pan
