Just took the 2 rear rims I bought to get powder coated, decided to go with a Satin Black. Hopefully I like how they come out, I was debating between Satin Black, Gloss Black and something similar to the charcoal grey I have now.

Well turns out we fudged our install of the Timing cover, it was sitting too low and it caused a fairly significant oil leak. Loosened up the timing cover bolts, moved it up to where is was supposed to be, put new oil pan gasket on(more precaution then anything, old one looked fine) and put everything back together. So far problem solved, simple mistake that had to be fixed. Just glad it was something relatively simple and nothing major.

Also got my rims back from the powder coater, went with a satin black. It's got 20x9's on all 4 corners now. Also got some stealth mud flaps(ZL1 style), Im planning on getting the car painted so Ill hold off on installing them.

Here is some slips from my time at the track this past sunday. Not exactly the best track in the country here, 60' times are really hurting. My clutch wasn't really holding up too well. So Monday I ordered myself a Monster clutch. Ill be avoiding this track for the next month or so as they had pot holes at the shutdown part of the track so Im going to give them some time to atleast patch them up before I go there again. I really didn't appreciate having to dodge pot holes at 100mph and catching a chunk of debris. More will come.

Got the new clutch in. So far so good, just putting around in it until it gets broken in so I can go to the track and test it out.

Had a slight problem with the clutch but it's all better now and taking any abuse I can throw at it. I worked it up to launching at about 5000-5500, which seems to be the sweet spot for my car. No 60' due to the track getting a new timing system that wasn't fully installed yet. My best pass was 12.11 @ 118mph. Also here is a picture after I washed and waxed her. Of course she got filthy the next day....

Ran a new personal best of 12.08 @ 117 1.866 60' this past Wednesday. However on the way home my clutch was acting up, took it to my dads the next day and we ran it on the lift and then we could hear the throw out bearing. After he shut it off I had him hit the clutch one more time and then the throw out bearing completely failed and the fluid ran out. There couldn't have been a better place for it to fail . I'm just really glad it didn't blow at the track.

Got the new one the next day from Summit. One advantage of being a stones throw away from Summit is I order something at 830 at night and 12 hours later its at the door step. I got the Ram throw out bearing, costly thing for sure.

Ran a new PB last wednesday of 11.98 @ 116

Also I will be ordering paint tomorrow. My uncle owns a Custom Body shop, he's a bit busy right now so it might be Winter-Spring time frame but it will be getting painted Admiral Blue. Debating on a ZL1 bumper, and I will also be getting a custom black vinyl top. The accent color I will be using what I believe is called Black Sapphire.

Admiral Blue is my favorite color, if you have never seen it you can look it up but one thing is for certain, pictures do it no justice. So hopefully I can update this a lot more come winter time. If he has any samples I will bring it to the fest if someone wants to see it.

Thanks, I love the IBM but GM really fubarred the paaint quality on these cars. Way too many flaws in it for me to keep it. Since I'm painting it I wanted something no one has and admiral blue is my favorite color.

I do everything myself that I can with the help of my dad. Only things I haven't done is the alignment, tune and I won't be spraying the paint but I will be helping with all the prep work. My uncle will be spraying.
