I've been saying for a while that our speed limits should be 60/90/120. In urban areas (aside from school zones) make it 60. Rural roads up it from 80 to 90, then highways like the 400 series or QEW up it to 120. Then, and here is the important bit ... actually enforce that speed limit. Don't continue with this 15 km/h buffer that we seem to be able to get away with now.

I see you're from Niagara. I grew up in Fort Erie and am well aware of the buffer on the QEW as well.
I was excited to see that the speedway got approved.

I've been saying for years that the speed limit should be increased. Was on my way home from Sudbury last week travelling at an average speed of 125km/h hitting just over 130 at times. And I was not passing any cars, everyone was moving at the same constant rate of speed. And I did not see a single person pulled over.

There was light traffic but ya usually they are. I try to keep it under 130, I don't need any more tickets
