2012 Camaro 2SS/RS Transformers Edition #18 of 371
Starting at $36,995 or Best Offer

Hi Everyone,

I am selling my mint condition 2012 Chevy Camaro 2SS/RS Transformers Edition. It is one of the only 2012 Camaro Transformer Edition's with the LS3 and 6 Speed TR6060 Trans. It currently has 10,000 miles on the odometer, I bought it from dealer stock with 29. This car has been garage kept every single day of it's life, never been left out in the cold, or extreme direct heat/sunlight. The car has never seen rain, snow, or salt. It was a Sunday driver. I drive a 2011 GMC Terrain every day. The car has professionally installed clear bras on the rocker panels and behind the rear wheels. They were installed by a guy who owns a business doing exotics cars. There are also GM OEM painted splash guards as well The sound system also has been professionally upgraded with a new Metra Fully Digital Climate Control System with Digital Display, and a Brand new Kenwood DNX9990HD Navigation System (Best of the Best 5 Months ago) to go along with the Metra Kit. The Onstar system is still fully functional, and all doors and chimes are retained. Every single speaker in the car has been upgraded to Kenwood's in the doors, new tweeters, and 3-Way 6x9 Infinity or Kenwood (I forget, but the whole car sounds excellent, its very very VERY loud and crisp with no cracking). There is also crossfaders in each door for the Highs Mids and Lows. There entire system has a fully independent 500W JL Amplifier Powering everything. The system was installed by Sound Waves, in Parsippany, NJ and has a Lifetime Labor Warranty. There is also a $600 Passport 9500xi GPS Radar Wired into the car and the wire has been nicely concealed in the roof area following the trim inside the lip. Parking Brake Override has been done and the Bluetooth works with the steering wheel controls too! The car has the Heads Up Display, Rear View backup camera with trajectory projection and sensors. This car has had its first oil change at 500 miles, recommended break in period, then babied up until 1,500 where it was driven like a normal vehicle. The car is in almost show room condition. Not a single scratch, ding, dent or scrape on the whole vehicle. It has been detailed by Royal Cadillac in Florham Park, NJ every 6 months, where the vehicle is regularly maintained. Subsequent oil changes were done every 2,000 using synthetic. People have come up and said the car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, and the interior is also in immaculate condition, no leather wear and tear, there was almost never any passengers ever in the car, no scratches on the plastic trip, etc. I'll upload some better pix with a high res cam, I gave my Lumix G1 to my gf for the Holidays. I love this car with everything I have, but I need a new pickup instead. This is certainly not my last camaro, but as a business owner, I need to spend money to make money, and a camaro wont help me on the job site, a truck will. The car is mechanically sound no issues whatsoever. This car has never been cold started and immediately driven off - that's my pet peeve. The car was always warmed up to at least 150 before being set in motion. Call it an ocd, you take care of your car, your car will take care of you. There have been no performance modifications of any type. Alignment is dead center. Full RS Package, Good tires, Bremo Brakes, Spoiler, etc. the works. I'm the original owner, clean carfax.

Car has never been tracked and can be validated that it hasn't been.

40K for a used car?

You realize I bought mine NEW for $42K?

Maybe you can push the whole "limited edition" thing, but used camaros with no mods (performance) are going for $29-32K.

The EB Vette is actually my buddies and he just sold it as of 2 days ago. The price on the camaro is flexible. but thats what he started it at. It has about 4k done in professional audio equipment, so I hope that adds a little bit. Price is negotiable, but I hope to get more then 32k, just for the fact that it is clear bra'd, and limited edition. Not to recoup my losses, just hope it adds some value. Ive seen new Camaro SS's by me, start off at 44k, just for rally yellow 2ss, no stripes. seems high for 2013. Any serious offer will be considered

Wow...thats some asshole dealers then.

I had mine ordered by THR....had GFX painted and put on....Heritage Grille put on....THR 3" exhaust put on....entire trunk redone so the high spoiler could be put on (and painted) and restriped for $42K. Those dealers must be on something because I don't think MyLink added THAT much to the price.

Nice car. #18? How did you determine that? Our cars do not have sequential VINs.

I emailed GM on the facebook page and they actually wrote back confirming a member on here has the exact listing and production models of all the 2012's, 45th, Hot Wheels, TF Editions. I'm only going by what GM, told me or so I hope, I got it really early in 2012, so I'm guessing that it was one of the first few, and the last digits of vin i think are 18. I'm not sure though, but my guess it is at least 1 of the first 50. Ill try and find the link gm sent me.

Chevrolet Camaro
Hey Jordan, our very own Scott "Fbodfather" Settlemire actually posted the final build numbers of each 2012 Camaro with the Transformers Special Edition package on camaro5.com. Check it out here (it also breaks down each by engine choice): http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=269609
So, to answer your question, it looks like the person who said 371 was correct.

Forum Member says he has #1 of 371, if they are going by vins. Im not expert with vins by any means lol

Oh yes, I'm very familiar with that document. I badgered fbodfather for the data.

My point is, the VINs aren't sequential at all. Only the ZL-1 has sequential VIN's. That said, the "18" in your VIN is only a production line sequence number. #17 might be a 45th edition, #19 might be a white LT. See what I mean?
