Tuner In NC

Recently (2 weeks ago) I purchased a 2012 2ss 6 speed. Finally finished installing mods this weekend and need to get it tuned. Mods are Longtubes, high flow cats, exhaust, stage 4 cam with supporting mods, high volume oil pump, etc. Now, I need to find a tuner I can get the car to. I am located in the triad area of NC. Wondering if anyone has any advice or recommendations on who they have used.

I heard Heintz is really big in the NC area. I don't have any personal experience with them but I've seen their name around. Maybe some of the members here from NC can give you some ideas too.

Welcome to the forum and way to jump right in building your car. Good luck with the tune. After you are done, make sure to check back in so we know how the car did on the dyno. Can't wait to hear the results.

RPM motorsports
Mayhem motorsports

RPM is further for you, but who I would go to

There are many others, but those are the ones in Raleigh. Several in Concord, Tick is in Mt Airy (don't know for certain if they tune).

Yea, my wife asked me When I bought the car what I was going to do, I ordered all the parts the following day and had to wait til my lift was empty to get it in. Beyond happy with the car so far. This is the first play toy I’ve had that doesn’t have a giant carburetor on it (my c10 and my nova have carburetors) so the tuning aspect is something new to me. Can’t wait to get it done and see what it makes.

Tick does not tune, rpm is actually one of the ones I’ve been looking at. Currently these are the 3 I am considering just from research on this forum and others. No specific order
Rpm Motorsports
PCM for less (Mooresville)
And Heintz Racing.

Really just looking for some first hand experience and go from there.

I live across the street from RPM, so I'm a little biased, but they're very knowledgeable and good people.

PCM of NC (Mooresville) is who you want to go with. They are 2-3 months out on tuning appointments and for good reason. Get you an appointment now while you are installing parts.

I have had big plans for the car from the day I’ve been looking, so once the car was purchased I had already had everything pretty much ready to order. And will be happy to!

Great crew at RPM Motorsports. Two years ago I had them build the engine for my Impala SS, last year I was so thrilled with the quality of the work I had them replace all the suspension with tubular control arms, coil over shocks and so on. They are terrific!

For sure they know their work! On top of that they had more Camaro's there than local Chevrolet dealership had!
