I have a K&N intake and a Chevy Performance Axle back exhaust which is made by Borla . The combination sounds awesome together .

I LOVE my MRT v2. It sounds amazing in the higher RPMs with no drone at highway speeds.

I'd get the GM NPP exhaust. The NPP is nice because you can control the exhaust flow with a switch. That's what I plan on getting.
The intake would be either CAI brand or Rotofab. I'd get the one that has the filter sealed with a top lid. That way, it won't tend to suck in hot air from the engine compartment and your hoodliner above the filter will stay clean. There is also a bumper scoop you can get as well that helps draw in fresh air into the intake. |

CAI, Inc. cold air intake and MRT V2 axle-back exhaust. Less than $1,000 and will make your LS sound about as good as it can.

Check with a local shop, see what kind of a package deal you can swing, usually if you're going to do more than one mod, they'll cut you a deal.
Personally I did the AIRAID CAI, which is all PVC so does not heat up like an aluminum tube, the VMAX TB which pretty much speaks for itself, and a Flowmaster 3" CatBack Exhaust. When the owner of JDP motorsports said that he put that same kit on his Camaro, I knew I had made a good choice. The exhaust is pretty mild which is what I wanted, but when you drop the hammer, it really opens up. |

Welcome! Make sure you check out the Mid Atlantic section and check out the DMV5 group.
On the 3.6 like everyone else who posted I've always heard great things about MRT v2 exhaust. Intake I would suggest CAI Inc or Rotofab.
