Leo thanks man, I do my best. Even though on my own cars I cut a corner here and there. I guess the saying "the shoemakers kids go barefoot" still has a place in my life.
Well after you're all done with your car we might have to rethink that 5th gens only clause and I am glad to see people like yourself still hold true to good old fashion values in today's crazy age and time

Just realized how messy the shop was!!! haha. Thanks Leo, Id be proud to be part of the HT crowd. Im working on moving to a bigger house with a 3-car garage and RV storage on the side, hopefully I can fit a 2-post in and start doing more diverse work!!

Ok got a looooottttt of parts in today. TR6060, ACT Twin Disc, Clutch Pedal, Throttle Body, and a set of valve springs. Just need motor and trans mounts and I can start engine bay mockup :-)

Id like to say thanks for Mike Page (mikepage0007) for the sweet deal on all the transmission stuff, and Turbo_J89 for the valve springs and throttle body. Gotta love the classifieds on C5!!

finally got the 5.3l mockup block out of storage, and bolted up the trans. motor mounts should be in tomorrow, so I can finally start doing engine bay mock up!! just have to figure out how to modify the BMR trans x-member from a T56 single bolt mount to a Tr6060 2 bolt mount. Shouldnt be too hard :-)

thanks. the headlights are some cheap halo fog lights that were put in before I bought the car. Im going to use different ones when the car gets closer to completion.

Thanks Barry. Finally got the motor mounts from Oreilley's. Freakin expensive at 57$ a piece. O well at least I know I wont have to replace them very often. Also had to make a trans mount converter bracket to mount the TR6060 to the T56 crossmember. Ill post up some pics next time everything is taken apart for prep and paint. At least I know everything fits now. I had to split the top of the trans tunnel and open it to make room for the taller trans, but other than that everything bolted right up.
