Sounds pretty damn mean! I like it. Wonder how bad the interior drone is? At least you could easily add J pipes to something like that to kill the drone.

I was about to say even the Magnaflow Resonated X-pipe could help with that as well. This BBK X-pipe sounds pretty mean with the headers.

The X pipe is nothing more than a small "X" shaped pipe that replaces the stock "H" pipe.

Drone is something that occurs normally with an aftermarket exhaust, but not always (depends on the setup of course) and it a frequency resonance that resonates through the cabin of the vehicle. Light drone will sound like a low hum coming from your exhaust, whereas drone worse than that "fills" the cabin with an annoying droning or humming noise that can be very annoying.

It usually only happens at certain rpms like at highway crusing speeds or gonig up slight inclines at highway speeds in a high gear (engine is lugging). If you were to ever experience a good amount of drone...you'd know it.

if its only the X pipe then how come in all the pics of them for sale it shows an X pipe plus another 2 pipes? maybe it replaces the stock resonators with a pipe as well?

Perhaps the BBK X-pipe comes in sort of a package deal with mid pipes, but the X pipe itself is just the X shaped pipe.

Well...yes and no. You'd have to replace the X pipe with magnaflow's resonated X, unless you just wanted to throw the resonated X in there somewhere, but I'm not sure if that would make sense or not.

It would tame the exhaust a bit, but it would still have plenty of growl and great tone.

Yea I'm still stock but if I was to get a loudmouth exhust I would want to add a xpipe to it to kind of tune the sound because in most videos it does sound nice and loud but also raspy. I wish I could get the great tuned sound of the mrt v2 and the loudness of the slp loudmouth together
