I'd have to agree....
Some of the most comprehensive photos I've ever seen. Nicely done...too priced way to high though. lol

They do have some nice stuff there.....The Z pricing is ridiculous. but The Vipers are priced very close to what some just went for at Barrett-Jackson.

I'm agree with most of the tounge-in-cheek thoughts previously expressed.
I think that the time that it took someone to put together that exhaustive summary of detail that so much that all of us already know, is what added to the price tag... I do though have a serious question: Toward the end of the summary, under the "Optional Equipment" heading, they list "Windscreen ($475)" What does that mean? I may be missing something. |

Isn't there a thing you put on certs between the seats to limit the buffeting effect? Never owned a convertible of any kind, but I see them on a lot of modern ones.

I've never owned any type of vert either, and know very little about them. Well, I do know a bit our our ZL1 verts, but clearly not enough. Hopefully one of us with one will let us know. It makes no real difference to me, I'm just curious and want to learn. |

It's to help reduce the amount of wind buffeting for the rear seat passengers. The genuine GM windscreens are fairly rare. GM advertised them, but for a long time, you just couldn't get one. Many people went with aftermarket windscreens. |

Thank you for clarifying this, HDRDTD. It makes sense to have a piece like this in a vert capable of ZL1 speeds. Very much appreciated. Is it a fabric piece, or a lexan or other type of plastic-like material? I'm thinking that rear seat passengers would want to see through it, but again, sorry, this is new to me but interesting. Thanks again. |
