Unhappy Radio wireing..

Hey i just joined the site was wondering if anyone could help me out i have a 1992 Camaro RS 25 anniversary its also my first car so im doing some shit to it. Dose anyone here have or know where to locate a stock wireing diagram for the radio dont like the head unit and was ganna replace it. But of course the wires dont match up and im stumped. if anyone could help me i would appriciate it.

Welcome to the site. Have you looked at an autoparts store for a Chilton's (or similar) manual for the car? Those are great references. They might have one at your local library also.

EDIT: Check this also: http://www.modifiedlife.com/1992-che...iring-diagram/

Look at that link. It doesn't have a diagram, but has a legend of the colors.

You are very welcome. Glad to help. Someone else might be able to point you to an actual diagram too. BTW, here is a link to the Haynes manuals for your car. I have used those before and they aren't bad. http://www2.partstrain.com/store/?Nt...891+4294965696

If you want it to be real easy just go to like Best Buy or a local stereo shop and get a wiring harness for $15 or so. It will plug into the stock radio plug and you can wire your aftermarket radio up to the harness without cutting any wires or cutting the original harness out.
