Sunroof = Added weight

Don't complain when a 5.0 or a 392 smokes you if you have a sunroof

I got a new one?
Yes, it will make no difference to 99% of people even when racing, like like the minimal difference of increased body strength(cutting a hole in anything will make it weaker in some aspect or another, so rationally I doubt it's literally no difference)
Increased weight and raises center of gravity, obviously, but how much? 40 pounds?

Exactly. First thing i do in the warm months is crack that sun of a bitch right open. Can give a crap about added weight plus every woman who gets in the car likes a freaking sunroof. Vape or Smoke, then a sunroof comes in handy as well. Just sayin...

Let me add:
- added drag when roof is open
- increased lifetime melanoma risk if you actually open it on a sunny day.
- influx of humid air is added burden for A/C

I like the reverse mohawk. If the standard roof was plain I would have tried to get a sunroof car

I like having the extra light come into the cabin. Or what my family likes to call a coffin. Only due to dark tint all the way around. Entire windshield included.

Only reason I have is because I got a good deal and had trouble finding one without.
I've had it on a couple of cars and frankly forget I even have one. The a/c is on constantly, my windows never go down much less open the sunroof.

Don’t really care for it. Feel it’s too small and never use it. Would prefer t-tops

Reason #1125 to have a sunroof

LOL... unless you're "that" guy.

- Zero performance aspect. Actually negative performance.
- Kills the reverse mohawk lines on this car
- Might as well buy a convertible if you live in SoCal and want the top open.

The wife and I both love the sunroof. We have one on our Enclave too.

I liked the look of the reverse mohawk so I chose that over the sunroof.

I had sunroofs in my previous two cars and both had problems:

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix: various leaks and motor stopped working (covered under warranty)

2008 Cadillac CTS: clogged drain holes multiple times that caused water inside car

I like sunroofs but don’t use them too frequently. I was on the fence when I got my Camaro and decided just because I like the look of the non-sunroof car better. With the minor issues I’ve had in the past with sunroofs combined with my low frequency of use I don’t miss it.
