Summit 1LE with ZL1 Side Skirts and Z28 Bumper

I've finally got all the visual mods done! The pictures were taken with my phone so they're not the best. I am pretty happy with the outcome

Yes, only one mirror is wrapped - that's a story in itself. AND only the front tires have white lettering! Things take time...

Almost forgot this one! It doesn't have the pinstriping, but it shows the connection between the bumper and skirts a little better.

Very nice exact combo I am going for. Is your rear diffuser OEM or aftermarket

Like the pin striping, is it painted on?

The diffuser is aftermarket. I got it off of ebay unpainted and had my local chevy dealership paint it.

The pinstriping is just 1/4 inch pinstriping tape from Autozone. It's not super sticky, but if you let it sit long enough it will hold.

Are the ZL1 side skirts the same as the Z28 and RS skirts?
Where did you find?
OEM or aftermarket?
How about the rear bumper and the lil fender flaps?
Thanks

I'm not sure what the RS skirts are, but the ZL1 skirts ARE different than the Z28 skirts. If you look closely at a Z28 the ends of the skirts align with the fender flares - there is a notch on both sides.

Basically, the Z28 bumper and skirts will not look right without the fender flares. And to get a matching Z28 look you would need wheel spacers, otherwise, the wheels won't align. The easy solution is to get the ZL1 skirts as they follow the same body line without the blocky notches on the end. The Spring Edition Camaro came with both the Z28 bumper and ZL1 side skirts. The only difference being everything was painted to match the body color.

I bought the ZL1 skirts PAINTED from RPI designs. Be forewarned, it took about 13 weeks or twice as long as estimated. These are an OEM product.

The Ebay link for the Z28 bumper can be found here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/303535872929

I can't guarantee you'll get the same shipping service (for the bumper), but I strongly advise going to pick the item up at the shipping center if given the option. I don't like speaking negatively... I'll just say it was interesting. The box was pretty beat up and it looked like someone rammed it with the forks on a forklift. I didn't see anything that couldn't be painted over, which is obviously confirmed now that it's painted. Consider that lucky.

Regarding the fender flaps, I actually don't know which ones they are. The previous owner must have put them on. I should probably figure that out. I think someone's dog chewed on the passenger's rear flap. Doesn't look very pretty!

Thanks.

Yeah I forgot about the Z28 have integrated fender flares so definitely different then the ZL1. The ZL1 look like the RS package ones.

I definitely need them.

Thanks for heads up with the link. I’ll check them out.

FYI, there is no RS appearance package rocker (aka skirt).

The factory GFX packages use the ZL1 style, though.

Many folks go with the OEM ZL1 rockers with the blade painted body color near the rear. Several eBay sellers have new and used painted ZL1 rockers. The source I used years ago does not sell them any longer.

The rock guards are available from GM and a few aftermarket companies. I have the four corner OEM kit from GM. It's part number 23114083.

Pics of mine with ZL1 painted rockers and GM rock guards.
