The Washington Commanders did something really interesting the other day....
They had all top 5 QB prospects in for a visit...not so unusual right? But on the same day at the same time for a get together at lunch is unusual. Former Vikings GM Richard Spielman was on CBS Sports the other day talking about it. Apparently this has happened before and he made a particular note to the 2018 Draft when the top 4 prospects were invited out to a dinner. What did they want find out in both cases? Who is the Alpha in the room. I bet you can guess who the Alpha was in 2018...yup it was JA17. Just some news I thought I would share heading into the draft. Another interesting thing 4 QBs have been selected in the first round 4 times since the century turned in year 2000. 2004 ,2012, 2018 and 2020. Could 5 go in round one next Thursday?

Maybe teams should have a steel cage match. That would tell you a lot more than dinner. |

NFLN said it was 4 QB's not including the projected #1 C Williams. You may think its stupid but they need to make sure they get the right guy. Former Pats GM Scott Pioli liked the idea

Funny interview with Josh and Beane about the draft last year.
Dalton Kincaid was still on the board and Josh texted Beane to go get him. When asked about it Beane joked and laughed everything runs through Josh. Josh later said he doesn't have that kind of pull and laughed.

The 2021 first round QB class is straight garbage lol. Out of the 5 qb’s, only 1 is still on the same team that drafted him. Tlaw

My Projection for the Bills first three picks. 1) Ladd McConkey GA 2)Devontez “Tez” Walker, WR (UNC) 3)Marshawn Kneeland, DE (Western Michigan) The Bills will trade up to get into round 3 as they don't have a pick as it was traded To the GBP for Rasul Douglas and a 5th round pick. I think the Bills are looking at the KC model and will use a receiver by committee approach rather than just a your our #1 ,2 and 3. This will allow guys to be fresher and to give the reps to the guy thats hot that day.JMHO

Draft Day is here
The Bengals have another discontented player Trey Hendrickson has asked for a trade because they won't negotiate a new deal. https://www.nfl.com/news/defensive-e...won-t-move-him 2 big extensions handed out by the Lions to Sewell and St. Brown.

The Bills traded down twice to sit at #33 moving up multiple spots in several rounds
The Bills now have the following draft picks: Round 2: No. 33 overall (from Panthers), No. 60 Round 3: No. 95 (from Chiefs) Round 4: No. 128 Round 5: No. 141 (from Panthers) No. 144 (from Bears), No. 160 (from Packers), No. 163 Round 6: No. 204 Round 7: No. 221 (from Chiefs) If the Bills make all 10 selections, it will be the largest draft class in the Brandon Beane era.
