Wheel and tire size combination for restored 1968 Camaro
Hello,
I've finally got my 68 on the road and running dependably now after a 10 year project off and on. Now I'm ready to upgrade the tire and wheel package to something a little better looking. I'd like to run 16's or 17's if possible. I lowered the front end 1 1/2" in a disc brake conversion with new spindles. Does anyone know what wheel size / back set / tire size and combinations I can run on my 68 based on experience? Thanks, Jason |

Since you have lowered your car that much (Yes, I have 1" lower springs. But they haven't even settled, yet (hardly driven it so far)), you may not get your answer very quickly on here. You might want to try www.camaros.net in the appropriate section/thread. There is a lot of modifying going on and people on that site have pretty much done it all...
