So i spoke with my buddy, who happens to be the sales manager for chevy and he gave me a 2 week timeline for orders on the z/28 to open up, cant wait till then. i will be putting in a order for one in black!!!

Does "sales manager for chevy" mean your local dealership sales manager? Or an individual at Chevy corporate? Is "2 week timeline for orders on the z/28 to open up" another way to say orders can be spec'ed and placed in two weeks? And when, exactly, did this fellow say your Z/28 was going to be delivered?

Very cool! Jeremy Clarkson just tested one on Top Gear and loved it. The Stig put it in the #2 position on their list of timed track cars right behind a new Pagani H.

There are some long versions on YouTube of that segment of the show and some in-car videos of the lap he did for those that care. I tend to be an early adopter of very cool new cars, hence my interest in the Z/28 The two cars fully embody my favorite aphorisms- "Light is right" and "There is no replacement for displacement".

Don't want to hijack the thread, looking forward to OP response to my questions...
