Lol I always pull up to the line and then look at the light that's green waiting for it to change. Like a Tree at a drag strip haha

around here they put those sensors in so the light doesnt turn green unless you are in a car and at the line. you cant get that close in a Camaro so I just wait a little while and go through it.

Did it yesterday. Just moved into a new place, and trying to figure out where the optimal point is to trigger the sensors, but still able to see the light. Not having much success with that so far. So, yeah, old man hunch it is.

One of these days maybe I'll get the hang of it.

Anyone else still occasionally have this happen? For me its every time..lol.
Every. Damn. Time.

Red Light

I never pull up close.

I was a Police Officer and investigated many two car accidents where a third car (innocent victim) got involved in an intersection accident.

Often times one of the two cars involved in the crash would go off course and strike the guy who was pulled up too close to the intersection.

I always stay back.

I like the intersections where the traffic signal is far enough away that I can pull up to the white line and still see the light.

I'm just happy when I get the first space at a red light.
