Hey Becky,
I'm the boring Terrain guy. No fast, flashy Camaro for me :( Anyway, I talked to my dealer this AM and he said that my Terrain is not eligible for Allocation until May 1st. Are you kidding me? Can you shed some light on this for me. he was very vague and distant when i puched him for more info as to why. If I hadn't put donw a deposit I'd be going somewhere else! My order number is PNDV32.

He's vague and distant because they don't have any allocation and
are probably hoping to have some in May. At this point, you should be able
to cancel your order and get a refund of your deposit unless there is some assurance that this will get built soon. If you are not comfortable with what they tell you, do like many have done with their Camaro's....move on. That deposit should be refunded unless they can show you the allocation and when the order will be placed. Good luck to you and if you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Every month, every dealer submits a request for allocation, called
consensus to GM. GM then evaluates the total production for each
model, how much the dealer currently has in inventory of that model,
and how many they have sold of that model. Then, once it's been
processed, the dealer gets a report of what they were given for
the upcoming month. Consensus should be submitted to GM by
tomorrow and next Wed the dealer will get their #'s. You may want
to check with them then and see if they will be able to place the
order for you.

Any way to tell if the the order was accepted or if it is waiting on allocation? Dealer told me no problem, but not entirely sure I was getting a straight line.
