Painted my link?

Has anyone done this ? How did it come out ? I found a site that does it but don't know how reliable they are , they have a weird disclaimer that I'm real shaky about,, opinions???

Pretty sure that cover plate comes off easily. Just take it off and paint it whatever color you like.

The guys at River City are great, no worries about their reputation. However, my understanding is that rattle canning your MyLink is just bad news. It's a lot more complicated than just removing the cover, painting, popping it back on. Better let these guys handle it if you must get it done, although I wouldn't do it at all

Here is the EXACT disclaimer that they have on the link that the Original Poster provided for us. Keep in mind, I have changed nothing, just a copy and paste:

NOTE: We can remove most of the electronic but the some remain and will be taped when painted. WE WILL NOT BE HELP RESPONSIBE FOR ANY DEFECTS OR DAMAGE THAT IS CAUSED WHILE PAINTING, DISASSEMBE OR REASSEMBLE OF THE UNIT. WE ARE CAREFUL BUT AGAIN WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE, IF YOU SEND IN YOUR UNIT FOR PAINTING YOUR ARE ACCEPTING FULL RESPONSIBLITY AND WILL NOT HOLD RIVER CITY CREATIONS & LIGHTING OR ANY OF ITS EMPLOYESS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE.

I'd be a little leery, just based on how they typed up the disclaimer!!!

So spelling is not their thing, nor hiring a lawyer to write up their disclaimers, lol, but they do great work. Good catch suplex, I completely missed that entire train wreck of a disclaimer

Hydrodippped mine. Was very scary taking the whole unit apart, about 35 small screws to access just the faceplate. Good luck and take a bunch of pictures!
