Another victim of the RX catch can...

I can't wait to get mine off the car. I pushed my car to 7200rpm in 3rd gear once yesterday at the track so I wouldn't have to shift into 4th gear before the traps and I had what i thought was a huge vacuum leak. Turned out the rx catch can just freaked out and was making the loud sucking air sound. I turned the car off and let it sit for a minute then restarted and it was gone. Glad your issues are gone.

I got everything installed, but now the idle is off...car is a '13 automatic...was idling right around 500 prior to install...its now idling at 500 and bouncing up to 750...its going back and forth few seconds on each rpm....anything i should check??

Second thing is the tensioner pulley is on the right tick mark when running, is that where it should be?

And last, there is a loud squeaking (sounds like a pulley) i dont see anything rubbing, is there a way to grease or lube the pulleys? Or what else should i be checking?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Did you flash the IPF tune yet ? The idle bounce is usually fixed with the tune.
There should be no need to lube the idler wheels. Loosen the belt and spin the idlers, they should spin easily with no binding or the feeling like there is sand in them.

Also, you may have a vacuum leak. I had an issue with the two bolts that hold the steering reservoir bracket being too long and they dug into the lower pulley.

pull the oil cap off when running, if the squeak goes away you have a evap/ vacuum problem....

Ok, i removed oil fill/breather (from mm) and squeak didnt go away (pretty sure its a pulley) ill remove and check...

Also checked all pcv fittings and everything was good and tight

Ipf said the correct tune was picked and loaded...i checked and rechecked maf connection and even installed a brand new maf sensor (as ipf said idle may be maf related) and its still fluctuating rpms...

Could it be a leak in the charge pipes causing it? I replaced all the clamps and tightened them as much as i could...

Boost gauge showed vacuum bouncing between 10 and 20 as the rpms bounced...

Im about to give up lol

Tensioner should be in the middle.

Idle is supposed to be at 800 RPM's (at least on the LLT, that is what the tune is set to). Make sure your brake booster line isn't leaking.

Do you hear any clicking noises from the engine bay when the key is in the run position but the engine is off?

Ok, that was to make sure the throttle body was good.

Is the recirculation valve hooked up right? If that valve is closed it is forced to get air through the supercharger and can cause idle problems.
