I love this mod. So the plate covers the led and lets the light reflect under it so it looks like it glows. Has anyone tried adding it to the cup holder where you sit your drink, but flush mount it so they point at each other, or would this be too bright?

I had thought about it since the LED comes with 3M tape on the back. But decided against it for three reasons.
1. The led puts off alot of light (see my picture below) Thats just one. Two would be really bright. lol
2. The led wires would be partly exposed. Unless you find away to cut inside the holder.
3. Cups going in and out would be likely to knock the LED off.

Just my 2cents

Got mine finally done last night. Night pic to follow.

I don't like the plate being loose. I have tried 3M tape and its not sticking. What else could I use? I'm thinking silicone adhesive or something.

i bet if u wiped it down with adhesion prompter than tried 3M tape it would stick

Maybe the velcro that has the sticky tape on the back of it at least you could remove it with no damage
