catch can
Wanting to install a dual catch can. Needing some help with the routing.
If theres a previous thread on this subject please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for your help! |

I was considering a dual can setup, but after investigating its not really needed. If
You look on the intake tube, there is a little plastic clean side oil collector/can. It’s pretty small, but at 5,500 miles it was bone dry. I went with a elite E2 can for the dirty side between the valley cover and the intake manifold. It’s working great so far. |

Not duals, but - a Z/28!
Got the catch can from Elite Engineering. Well made unit. Went with the single can, but as you might see, it's plumbed for a dual. Elite does not have a Z/28 specific bracket, so I put my crappy welding skills to use. After building my own bracket, which was fun and improved my crappy welding skills, I saw a link for all the Elite brackets. If you are thinking of mounting a can using the oil canister like I did, I'd recommend you check out the bracket for the Pontiac G8. Looks like it would do the trick. |
