New Help, Few Questions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

This is probably for someone in my area, But I'm sure anyone can help.

I just recently purchased my 80 Camaro Z28 (Thread is on here). I want to start fixing it up. If you could tell me where to go to get the best price, also people I can trust with my car.

List:
Fixing A/c
Connecting The Radio (Speakers etc)
Fix cables (My speedo and gauges don't work)
Get my car inspected
And repainting
Also I was thinking of buying these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7-Sea...ht_5620wt_1138)
What you guys think?

You may try posting in the regional forum to get some local help. Nice looking '80. I had one and a few '79s throughout the years.
The speedo cable is a common-failure and if it isn't working at all it's either the cable or the gear in the transmission(it's plastic). Usually if the gear in the trans starts to go the speedo will bounce instead of not working all together.
One thing I would recommend is a Chilton's or assembly manual of some sort if you plan to turn your own wrenches.
