Corsa Performance Exhaust for the ZL1

Anyone have the Corsa Performance Exhaust for the ZL1? Claiming 50% more airflow. I like that. Anyone have it?

no experience on a ZL1 but I ran a corsa on my Z06.

What you have to watch with manufacturers is claims about airlfow that don't translate to HP. I would want to see HP gained for money spent.

with corsa on my Z06 very little drone, great sound at WOT, hated the sound at idle. I did not notice much power at all but it was facorty dual mode exhaust. it sounded better than the Z06 dual mode which was way quiter than the ZL1 dual mode.

I don't think the money on catbacks will pay off on this car for HP purposes. these dual mode catbacks make more hp than stock already. like 8hp or something on the vets that is about all you get from a catback.

look at clips on the CTS-v for sound. I like the overall sound of other mufflers better but corsa had no drone issues.

Yeah, my Charger SRT8 has it, even with the 4cyl eco mode there is no drone hence why I want it. I like Corsa's style.

my car has the prototype (s-type) system, they test fitted back in april or may and they just released it. unfortunately i dont see any videos yet, i have an old cell phone video on you tube somewhere.

Livernois Motorsports is almost done with my ZL1 hp upgrades; which consist of the Corsa with black tips, American Racing Headers and QTP cut outs

So the sound ; should be very .........LOUD

Received my Corsa cat back today as part of my build.I like the Corsa because of the no drone feature.My Z06 and my CTS-V(both sold) had borla exhausts but they were too loud and droned like a Bi&&h.

yeah borla's drone. I like the sound at idle of the borla 100% better than the corsa though. that is why I ditched the corsa off my Z06. just sitting there with car running I hated the sound.

sound is very subjetive though some may like the corsa at idle. Ironically the amrican racing chambered muffer sounded pretty awesome to me in there clip.

the borla from above unless it is just bad recording does not sound like my Z06 did with stingers at all.

Sounds great! Have you done any other power mods yet, besides the exhaust and headers?

My ZL1 is on order and I have been thinking about changing the exhaust. Do headers require a tune? Any warranty issues?

The same package that made history with Livernois Motorsports being the first in the 9's with their ZL1 upgrades, is the same package going into my ZL1.

Does the stock exhaust have drone once the engine modes were done at Livernois? Also are the corsa just as quiet at idle and crusing? My ZL1 is going to Livernois also, will be using arh headers and considering the corsa x-pipe and catbacks without converters if not to loud at idle and crusing.

I got my Corsa installed last week on my ZL1. Really loud. Like it. Smooth acceleration. A little less torque at low rpm, really low rpm, but thats it. Ill post a vid later.
