There's no rasp with the resonated x pipe therefore it's just a little louder than your ordinary aftermarket axle back. I've already tested it on my car and took my SLP mufflers off.

Coming from someone with an SS, obviously it sounds like shit compared to a v8. Lol

IMO the only way it sounds bad is if you leave everything stock and then take the mufflers off.

So I'm leaning towards a MRT v1.0 with a x-pipe to reduce the rasp. Hoping for a nice loud sound!

Isn't the v1.0 the same as a muffler delete pretty much?

I have the SLP Loudmouth I, Solo High-Flow Cats and K&N Typhoon intake.. I get a lot drone (unwanted frequency).. I love the deepness of this setup... Will a resonated x pipe eliminate the droning? Will it take away the loudness?

Yes the X pipe will stop the drone. .... I personally went with the Cherry Bomb exhaust elite series it sounds really good and plus it's not the same like everyone else's exhaust system....I wanted to go a different route so I love the way my exhaust sounds .... u can go to YouTube and look up different exhaust systems and listen to them

Im considering on getting the magna flow x pipe to tone down my drone with my mrt v1 exhuast. The drone is starting to get annoying. I didnt realize the resonator delete would produce such a sound when i got it done. I should've done more research. What size x pipe would i need? 2.25 or 2.5?

I went with the MRTv2 at about 250 miles on the odometer. Sounded pretty good (hell, it sounded much better than stock!) but it did drone a little at 2000-2200 RPM. However, I didn't find it annoying at all and after a few hundred miles it settled down anyway. The MRTv2 wasn't really 'throaty' though but I jumped into the Solo high flow cats when they came out and that really turned things around. The Solo's were kind of pricey but I felt the power difference immediately and it also gave the exhaust a nice deep growl! There is no escaping that its a V6 when you are running high in the RPM, but it still sounds like muscle to me.

Are you talking about the high flow catalytic converters from MRT? I know they make cats too. Did it really create a bigger difference on your exhaust? Im considering on getting them next.

You can make your V6 sound GREAT. I have had a ton of people tell me how good mine sounds. Does it sound like a V8. NOPE, never will either. Not trying to make it sound like that either. But it does sound good for a 6. Take a listen to one of my passes at the track.

Leaving it stock is boring and no sound. Taking the muffler off is a huge mistake IMHO. It will sound worse.

No the MRT 1.0 is not the same as a muffler delete. Again PLEASE listen to those who know what they are talking about as this person obviously should stick to the V8 sections and stay out of the v6 sections since none of his advice is worth a damn.
