More pics of the progress as we move forward to a complete restoration. These were taken last weekend. Did not get a chance to make it out this weekend to see the car but they did tell us that they started grinding down some areas on the car. Now basically all the body work begins.
The car at this point went through a light air blast to remove all the loose debris. A little elbow grease and it looks like it wouldn't even need to be re-painted. I couldn't believe how "shiny" this was underneath all that dust.

Finally had a chance to get back out to the shop and see the progression of work done of the last couple weeks. Here is what has been going on ...
They began prepping the body, its coming along very nicely. Still need to locate a passenger door, preferably not aftermarket because those doors cost upwards of $800 but this is proving to be a very difficult task. Interior pulled out, and will be going through a very through cleaning before getting put back in. We decided to just clean it all instead of re-upholstering everything. Repairs were done to the holes in the floor. Work continues on the driver door, almost ready for primer now. Here are pieces that are primed and ready for paint..got the trunk and spoiler pieces along with the rear bumper edge trim moldings Here is the hood, still needs some work to fix up some dents and pitting you see in top left corner but it has definitely come a long way from being a shelf for a mattress to this.

Sorry guys, I have not had a chance to update this thread in a long time. A lot of work and progress has been done. If I get a chance hopefully this weekend I will update with everything that has been going on since my last post and there has been a significant amount of work done. We are now in the dry fit stage. I will get pictures up from where I left off. I haven't forgotten, just haven't had much time lately.

The car is in the dry-fit stage.
I really have been meaning to post some pictures but I cant even remember what day it is any more because I have been working day and night. And I haven't even gone to see it in 3 weeks. But it is coming along. Right now we hit a road block because of the urethane bumpers, the spider cracks came through during the primer stage of the paint so we are on the hunt for front and rear bumpers. Once we get that issue sorted out, its just a matter of paint and putting it all back together. I really do hope to get some pictures up soon.

Sorry guys, I've been so busy with work, sad to say it but I did forget about this thread. The car is progressing.. about 3 weeks from.being fully complete... I get some pics up by this weekend for sure.. hopefully Saturday as it is my only day off. I couldn't be happier with how the car is coming a long and the professionalism and attention to detail and care the guys from The AutoDream Group have put into it. Pics to come for sure.
