P0430: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold
I keep getting this error reading on my 2010 Camaro RS. Any reasons why I get this reading? I did get a new exhaust system a few months ago, could that have caused it?
Thanks |

This code is stating the rear o2 sensors aren't noticing enough difference from the front o2 sensors. Meaning your cats are flowing to well. This code usually pops up when you have high flow cats, mainly on cold starts. Your obd2 scanner should be able to delete the code whenever it pops up. A tune will just turn off your rear o2 sensors and the code will never come back. It doesn't mean anything is wrong and it won't hurt anything.

I got that once and my intake was loose. Check that everything is tight and bolted up.
