TRACK DAY AUG.12TH, Racing for a great cause!!!!

Finally our track day announcement!!!
Come on Camaro5 team, let's burn some rubber and make some noise for this great cause. Time to stop the dyno wars and get some real times out of your cars. There will be prizes and giveaways and definitely some bragging rights. We are counting on our local guys to come and put on a good show.
Check out www.racingforacure.ca for more details, or please feel free to call or e-mail the shop with any questions. (905)-465-9916, shifted.perceptions@bellnet.ca

SPi is excited to announce that we are teaming up with Racing For A Cure to help raise funds for cancer research. Over the last 5 years “Racing For A Cure” has raised close to $1 million dollars for research in the Cell Therapy Program. The research is done under the supervision of Dr. Armand Keating at the Princess Margaret Hospital. This year we are pairing up with Toronto Motorsports Park to host a day at the track. The park has a drag strip and a road track that will be open to everyone who donates. This event will take place on August 12th 2011. We have rented the track for the entire day and 100% of all donations will be going straight to the research center. You will receive a tax receipt making your donation tax deductible.

The minimum donations we are seeking are as follows:

-If you wish to join at the drag strip with your vehicle $95.00
-if you wish to join on the road track with your vehicle $500.00
-if you wish to Join and try out both $550.00
-if you wish to jump in one of the race cars with a pro driver $200.00/session

-So far we have committed to raise a minimum of $200,000.00 towards the research but also Toronto General Hospital has committed to double the value so $400,000.00 which is our goal. Dr.Keating will be present for lunch and will have a speech on his progress. We can’t do this without or friends, families and associates. I am sure almost everyone knows someone who is touched by this disease, but you can help and make a difference. It really is exciting to know that someone right here in our home town is making a difference.
You can go onto our website www.racingforacure.ca which will outline more of the details for the day and also to register. I truly hope that we can get an awesome turn out for this great event.

This event is open to all cars, this is not a Camaro only event
