Engine bay is looking AWESOME. Got to love those painted valve covers. Still on my I am thinking about doing list.

As for the header install. Not bad, just take your time, and think of the satisfaction when completed.

Also, here is my install thread in case you haven't seen it yet.

Engine bay is looking awesome as always but I do have to ask has anything changed lately? Looks like something has but I can't really say what exactly

But on a side note I did help Lil' Nasty install his BBKs for a little while (wasn't there for the whole thing) and I do have to say the right tools and a second person are needed for the install. I know you said you were getting a garage and that is kind of is essiential because it probably will take you around 7 hours to do the install. Like Lil' Nasty has said a rathect box wrench will help a ton when it comes to installing the header bolts and you will need some strength to break/Loosen the collector bolts.

I am not trying to scare you into not doing the install because it is a little straight foward just letting you know what I saw when helping out. If you were closer I would lend you some assistance but I think we are little far for that.

Thanks, I've noticed though that some dirt has got onto the valve covers and it seems to have baked into the clear coat, not sure how I can get rid of it/clean them.

Some slight things have changed nothing major. I started to cover some of the hoses with braided covers to make them look a little better and started to get rid of some of the rib-looking wire coverings. I am in the process of trying to remove it all but it will take awhile. Noting major but once it is all done I think it will look really good.

Thanks everyone for the tips on the header install I'll have to hit up Lowe's and get some tools before I do it to make it a little easier.

That's a great idea didn't think of that it is worth a shot.

Just going to through this out there but a wax probably won't last long at all because as the temperature increase the wax will break down since it was never designed for high heat. But a wash and clay will definitely help out.

Time for a quick update and this is good news (not like the bad news from trying to install my headers) anyways...

This past Saturday I decided to go to the 1/4 mile track and do some runs before I installed my headers that way I could see what gains the headers give me. Made a total of 13 passes. The DA was kinda bad about 2000. My two fastest runs of the day were a 14.1158@97.45 when correcting for the D.A ends up being 13.844@99.404. This was the very first run on the track for the day and I had a 60ft of 2.079 which is my best yet (had zero wheel spin), as time progressed my 60ft got worse but that could very well be me (def need to get some trailing arms). My next fastest time was a 14.1592@98 which corrects to 13.848@100.255. I am pretty happy that I was able to break into the 13s and break the 100MPH mark(although not physically). I've attached two pics of my fastest times at the track and I brought my friend along so he could record some videos and I've attached the video of the 14.1158@97.45 run. BTW I'm car 6C
