Cadillac Attack 2020 Manual Class

May have been the best day I’ve had Racing. 5th Gen ZL1s definitely represented! GODZL1 was running 9s all day!

We both drove our Cars to and from the Event.

My semi-final round against a stout Caddy Wagon and driver may have been the closet race slip I’ve ever had.

^^Thank you!

Here is the mod list; Factory 1.9L ported blower, crank, forged pistons/rods, ported/shaved heads, BTR 3 cam, Meth, E85, 5” intake, 102 TB, injectors, 160 stat, Monster triple, factory shifter, kooks 2”, factory exhaust. 17” Welds. Hoosier DR2.

No Nitrous. That is probably the only reason I Won this class. Only one power adder was allowed in the Manual Class

^^Thanks Man. I try to do the same thing on every pass. Moving to 15" conversion soon.

Very stout solid roller set-up you have also. Love that Cam Motion LLR cam MPH!

^^Thanks, the LLR is the best set up I have had on any of my cars my injectors make more noise than the valve train does.

until it went to 15" the best 60 foot was 1.4 to 1.5 and still spinning even with 17" M/T ET Street R, now 1.32 60 foot you'll really like the 15" conversion.

That's a Badass setup Man! What RPM does that thing shift at?

I had solid roller jesel shaft mounted rocker set-up in my Impala LTx. Checking valve lash as often as oil changes got old quick lol. The tech has obviously improved!

Good to hear about the 60' gains on the 15" setup. Car has gone 1.53 once on 17" DR2s. Multiple 1.54 - 1.58 on 18" ET Street Rs. Consistent 1.4s would be nice!

Hey now,

Good going on winning the money, here is another race at Orlando Speed World. March 28 (Saturday) I pre registrared with no money upfront.
Here are some screen shots if you you don't know about this yet. I plan to have my boost uped by then but most likely I'll still be relatively slow. You and the godzilla ZL1 owner come on out and get the money. There was a 6th Gen ZL1 at Cadillac attack that was doing 150mph passes, hope to see that car again.

6600 to 6800 nothing to extreme i'm still on the stock short block, the rev limiter is set to 7000. the valve train will go a lot higher but the lower end wont take it for to long.

yes the technology has come a long way I have about 3000 miles on the top end and have not had to adjust anything from day one.

15" will definitely get you in 1.4s maybe better you may be surprised.

^^Smart move on keeping the RPMs down on the stock bottom end. It obviously is still making alot of steam down low with that 142 trap. I was shifting the LTx solid roller set-up at 7400 and it was still making power!

Real nice to hear about your thoughts on the 15" set-up. 1.4 sixty or lower puts me right at 10.1 or less.
