Tire/Wheel packages

OK, so I have been looking for a LONG time for some tires and rims for my 2010 SS. Now that my tires are balder than your average bowling ball, it really has become time to ramp up the search.

Replacing stock would be easy, but I've never been one to take the easy way out. Since I don't really know all the intricacies of offsets, back spacing, etc., I come to the knowledgeable membership to ask my questions. I am a little concerned with fitment after the suspension work I have done.

Here is the lowdown of my current situation:
- 2010 SS with Pfadt coilovers set approximately 1.5" - 2" lower than stock.
- Need to clear the Brembo brakes.

What I'm looking for:
- A good set of tires and rims for $3,000+-
- Summer performance tires.
- Increase tire widths to 265-275 on the front and 295-315 at the back.
- Wheel finish isn't defined yet, except that I have ruled out a chrome finish.
- Ideally a drop in weight from stock, but if not, I don't want to gain weight.
- Ideas from other members, or quotes from suppliers that are in, or can ship to, Canada.

Thanks in advance.

I just ordered some Michelin Pilot Super Sports in 275/295. They are supposed to run a lot wider than some tires. Apparently the Michelin 295 is wider than a Nitto 315. As for the wheels, you have lots of choices. I went with Forgestar F14's.
