Shocking I mean it was just an excuse because I wake up with night sweats running from that coyote. Surprised it came true Ps... I’ll give you the tire edge and raise you that this was a fing manual SS lmfao. Good thing this wasnt a base manual gt vs base SS. Would have really waxed that ass nice and proper lol. Mustang buyers make sure you decode the order sheet and spend 50 grand to get a GT with proper tire and gear and launch mode etc if you want to run a BASE SS lol... FURD Hopefully a 50 grand GT optioned with launch mode mag ride and 3.55 gears can tie a base SS on runflats. As it will have a tire advantage among other things. Oh I bet they're mad alright. And I bet they're really pissed that I and others was right and that now they can't come over here in masses to brag, lol!! Too bad M6G, too bad.
But really, what were they expecting? The 5th Gen SS ran a 12.9-13.1 in testing while the 15-17 GT ran similar times. The 6th Gen SS got a boost up to 455 hp, the A8 trans, an awesome tire, and a seriously reworked suspension. And they ran 12.3-12.4 in testing. So now the GT gets worked to 460 hp, gets the A10 trans which is not much better than the A8 if it is even better at all, the suspension is still not on par, the weight between the two is similar, and they retained the crappy Pirelli tires. So did they really think it was going to do high 11s in testing? LOL! Plus consider that lots of guys got the SS into the high 11s despite the testing showing it to be 12.3-12.4. So some guy hits an 11.8 suspect-as-hell run in his...even if it was legit that still would put it right in league with the SS and would mean that it too would do a mid 12 in official testing. I said higher for the GT because the SS has better tires. So the SS is mid to low 12s and the GT is mid to high 12s...because I'm guessing the M6 GT will be 12.7-12.9. And this all goes right along with the 2 shops who ran a 12.2 and 12.3 with DRs. I mean, these goons really thought the GT was just gonna magically blow the SS away. And they honestly thought it would bang heads with the ZL1. Not even close. 8 tenths of a second off from the M6 ZL1 and 1.2 seconds off from the A10 ZL1. I hope they learned their lesson. BTW, I'm going back to find all the posts these guys made about how I'm gonna feel when the GT beats the SS and when it posts a low 12, lol!! I hope they got some hot sauce for them words they're about to eat!! 12.6 in the A10, lol!! Can't even beat the M6 SS. **** outta here. It's better than the 15-17s so I'll give them that. |

The reviews wont be good to the Camaro. I dont think they have been great so far, people favor the cabin experience of the Mustang a lot. Considering the '18 got more power and MUCH louder exhaust, I think the subjective input will lean towards the Mustang. Performance seems to stay as it was, just a smaller gap now.
