Debadged the dealer logo, help!

Hello all! I have the glue from the sticker on the paint, can i use googone for this or is that not recommended on paint?

How would you rid the sticky crud??

I threatened my dealer with his life if a sticker got put on it in the first place, but since you're stuck (pun intended) acetone/lighter fluid/goo gone are fine just wash it off afterwards.

Crazy.

70% IPA.

Never use GoofOff (xylene based product) or Acetone on paint.

Goo-gone is oil based with citrus, so... not any 'real' damage...

Use Rubbing Alcohol (IPA) (70%) - a little claybar with lube if needed and then re-seal and wax the area.

---- pfft. putting chemicals on your paint... wow. Have fun killing your clear-coat. Might as well sand it down with some 80 grit sheetrock sandpaper.
