Factory GFX kit used the same rear fascia as the LS, LT and SS Camaro's.

This will probably sound stupid, but what about taking the rear bumper cover off and then trying the fitment?

Maybe something is getting distorted with the bumper already installed?

Yeah, Idk. I just installed the replacement diffuser Summit sent me and the fitment is exactly the same.. so I guess it must be something with the bumper, I just have no idea what to do about it. I know it might be overly OCD, but it's driving me nuts that it doesn't line up lol.

Made me go out and look at mine. Looks the same as yours on both sides. Mine is the factory single tip non 1LE diffuser.

Huh.. I guess some of the bumpers are just that way. Guess I'll get over it, lol.

Well there you go! It's just GM's poor mold tooling, not your car!

I promise you, you are likely the only one that will ever notice this. I assume you are doing this for the awesome quad tips, so that will serve as a worthy distraction.

It does make me feel better haha. And you are correct, I am patiently waiting for my quad tips to arrive! I appreciate all the replies!

I have debated this as well, as the quad tips just look so damn good. But I just can't get the nerve up to take the GFX diffuser off. It has always sucked whenever looking for exhaust systems as very few work with the GFX without modification, so I have had to hack the tips off of brand new systems before. Some companies will sell s 'GFX compatible' system, but that just means you don't get tips. Oh well.

Post some pics of the quad tips when you get them installed if you get a chance?

Sure! And I know how you feel, I've never liked the square bevels/lack of tips, and I kinda felt like I was going in blind due to the lack of info on removing GFX. That being said, it really wasn't too difficult. If you ever decide to remove it and you have any questions, feel free to message me!

lol, this made me go out and look at mine, and it has about an 1/8 inch gap all the way around, but my quarter spats cover it up some what.

Are you still using your GFX side skirts? If so, getting a set of rear quarter spats like 1JEWLDSSRS has might help to hide some of that gap, and also keep the flow of the GFX skirts.

lol, thanks sir. Yea I have the Flow Master ZL1 3" Outlaw catback on there and really love the quad tips. Before that, I had a set of 4" quad tips on a Dynomax axle back set up. Looking to change out to a Corsa Extreme catback, this one drones like crazy, but it sounds freakin great !!

These would flow well with the GFX side skirts.
