Eye can see my Camaro in HD now!!!!

just had eye surgery on Tuesday... I have had fairly bad vision and had to wear glasses since I was about 7 or 8 years old... and for the first time since then... I can see... and not only can I see... I went from -8(contacts)/-8.5(glasses) to 20/20 vision... just minutes after my surgery was completed....

I knew I had a beautiful car before the surgery... but now I can actually see it!!!

this is a youtube link for the surgery... its not my surgery.. but it is the type of surgery I had done...

I asked if I could get a video of mine, but they said they no longer did that... oh well.. I can see now... Thats all that I care about...

thanks... i have always had poor vision at night(even worse than my horrible vision during the day)... so i am somewhat used to that at night... i cant wait until i can see perfect 24/7...

That video made my eyes water. It looks like they have a tough time getting the lens to unfold. And I seriously hope they don't leave the air bubbles in there

Perma-contacts...

ICL wasn't even an option for my wife when she had LASIK done a couple of years ago (-11'ish in both eyes). They told her to give ICL a few years and then reconsider it since her eyes were/are continuing to get worse over time. Good to see that it is now being considered a viable alternative for LASIK rather than just an option for people where LASIK wouldn't work.

on a serious note, how much was it? I'm 19 right now, so I can't get it, but my eyesight is horrible. So a quote would be nice, something else to save up for.

about 4k per eye for what I had done... but if its anything like what usually happens with me... I probably paid way too much and they will probably be free from now on... lol...

as far as pain... I was awake for the operation and my eyeballs were numb so I didnt feel a thing... the ivy thingy they put in my hand before surgery hurt the most... for whatever thats worth...

and I have already been warned about mirrors... it was one of the first things the Dr. told me... so I went through my place and where I work (with a Dr.'s note of course...) and removed all mirrors and everything with a mirror finish... so dont worry... I would never put myself through what I put everyone else through... lol...
